Poor Twitch must go through this door fifteen times a day. Although he has access to both the main shop and the house, Twitch always seems to feel he is on the wrong side of the door.
Hahaha - our Felix does the same. My husband calls it "door shopping", as opposed to "window shopping". During the summer I usually leave the doors open so the cats can come and go (during the day). Lillipilli likes to sit right in the doorway though and sometimes the magpies walk in too so it's not the perfect solution.
I always think of a story I read where the protagonist's cat would face the year's first snowfall with such dismay that he would go from door to door in the house, demanding that each be opened. He was looking for the Door Into Summer.
