I think I mentioned how much Wilson looks like my Lillipilli. I'm so glad that the abscess was treated. I wish that I had done the same for Snuffly who is growing up to be a quite big boy. He comes up for his head rub every night before he eats his dinner. Still loves his warm bowl of kitty milk too. His wound has almost completely healed now - it took nearly a year so an untreated abscess on a wild cat can be disastrous and can kill; no wonder cats are wary of fighting.
