Cats and Sun

Punkin and Bart catch the afternoon rays.

We are saddened to see Punkin grow thinner as her kidney disease progresses. Her time is drawing toward its close. She seems drawn out and restless. I treasure each moment we have with her, counting off the dates--will she last until Thanksgiving? Christmas? Will she see the dawn of 2009?

Love lasts forever. Life doesn't.
