2007 Roll Call - Frannie

Deaf but devoted.

I am not longer surprised to find Frannie waiting for me when I step from the shower, though it took a long time for it to dawn on me just how devoted she was. She's not demonstrative about like some I could mention (Punkin) but she is always *there*. She usually sleeps at my feet and will follow me from room to room as I go about my chores.

And of all our cats, she is the one waiting on the bathmat while I shower.

Frannie sure is a beauty! Don't ya wonder what their lives are like when they cannot hear. I try always to be obvious about my movement around Casper so as not to frighten him. He is much more cautious than my other kitties, but no less affectionate for sure.

Ah, yes, the shower cat. I've got one of those, too. It's my sensitive little Sammy girl. She then hops up on the commode and "helps" dry mommy off. And then she brings in back up by way of any one or more of her 4 siblings. When I'm on a trip away from home, I miss those crowded bathroom moments :)
